Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs)

Lending institutions throughout Minnesota provide financial products and services to business owners not fully served by traditional financial institutions. Many of the CDFI’s that serve our region specialize by culturally based communities or type organization. For example, Propel Nonprofits serves nonprofit organizations and First Children’s Finance serves childcare providers. Many CDFI and community based lending organizations are part of the Elevate HennepinSM network.
