With your feedback, we have developed an initial design for Hennepin and First avenues. We will continue to engage with residents and businesses in the area as we approach construction in 2024.

The recommended concept includes:

Separated bike paths
Transit priority lanes
Wider sidewalks
Green infrastructure additions
Storm water improvements

Project goals

The project's engagement goals are to understand community transportation use and needs in order to inform the future pre-design and design of transportation projects in the area.

Participate in the December listening session

In addition to the virtual corridor tour, the project team will be hosting a community listening session on December 10 from 6-8 p.m. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the project and share your vision for the future of Hennepin and First.
